1. Questionnaire followed by Training Consultation or Meet & Greet:

Questionnaire: I will email you a questionnaire to complete before we meet up for either dog training or dog walking. Based on your questionnaire, if I think that my service matches your needs, I will arrange either an initial training consultation (chargeable at £40), or for dog walks only, a free "Meet & Greet".

Training Consulation (£40): Once the training questionnaire has been completed and returned, I will arrange to meet you and your dog - initially in your home, proceeding straight on to a walk with you and your dog, which depending on the training required, may be on pavement, in the park and/or in a cafeteria (to assess behaviours). I will then send you a written report with my recommendations for how to address your training needs. I can then provide a price for further training sessions, which will normally be at least weekly.

Meet & Greet: For dog walking only, I will arrange an appointment with you to meet you and your pet(s) - either at your home or a nearby green space, as you prefer. I will provide proof of business insurance and a DBS (criminal records) certificate.

You can assess how your pet responds to me. We will discuss your requirements and your pets’ needs and restrictions (*1): e.g., frequency and duration of walks, after walk care (e.g. towelling, feeding), home security etc.  

Recall: We will discuss your dog’s level of training and recall with you, so that we can decide if walks should be on or off-lead / training lead. 

Compatibility: We will check compatibility of my service against your requirements and your pet’s needs. If my service is not right for you, or you do not wish to proceed, there will be no charge. 

2. Trial walk: For dog walking only, I will carry out a free trial walk with your dog(s), which is best done when I can collect your dog(s) from your home at a time when you are in (less stressful for the dogs). There is no committment on either side to proceed to booking regular walks until this is complete.

3. Dog Training or Walking Bookings: You can then book regular weekly walks  / training sessions with me and any additional adhoc appointments using the online form (minimum 24 hours notice, depending on availability). You can cancel individual appointments or the whole service with 24 hours notice.
